About From Here

“We’re all from here.”

Set in 2016, From Here is the vital new musical love letter to Orlando, now making its Off-Broadway debut. It tells the story of Daniel, a 30-something gay man on his journey through life, love, and family when the news of the horrific shooting at Pulse Nightclub changes his hometown, and him, forever.

A celebration of queer joy, and the unifying strength of chosen family, the New York performances this summer feature an incredible all-Orlando cast and crew here to tell their stories. “From Here is a powerful journey through both the ripples of grief and pain and the power of friendship and community. Our joy is our resistance, our love is our defiance — and From Here is our story.” (Brandon Wolf, Pulse Survivor/Author/Advocate)
